Work on the green intensified this week in the better Spring weather. The green was already looking great after its Winter aeration, but this week the green was scarified and over seeded. Also, the patches that needed the most attention had further intensive work done on them, and are now sheeted to speed up seed germination.
John, Paul, Mike and Gail worked on the green this week. We also have Graham and Susan to thank for planting in the borders near the Village Hall, which will brighten up these corners once in flower. Everything is looking great for the new season!
