The bowling season might be over but the green is still being tended to by our very own team of volunteers. This week they have scarified the green and used the sit-on mower and lawn mower to clear up the debris. Following this, the green was spiked using the aerator and then seeded using our new pedestrian spreader. Finally, a layer of top dressing was applied, all of which should help the green attain a superb appearance again for next year’s bowling season.
