We have been successful in securing funding from Much Hoole Parish Council and LCC Older People Champion to purchase an aerator. Aeration will improve drainage, reduce turf compaction, thatch build up and increase the health of the bowling green. This will enable us to improve and maintain the bowling green without the need of securing the services of an external contractor so should reduce our costs.
