Here at Hoole, we have qualified coaches that run short bowls courses to teach children age 7 to 16 the skills of the game. This is done using fun activities to hone their skills and practice matches to provide real experience of the game.
All equipment is provided so all your child needs is flat shoes or trainers (no block heels, sandals or bare feet allowed on the green!), and loose clothing suitable for the current weather conditions.
WHEN DOES JUNIOR BOWLS RUN?
The next Junior Bowls course at Hoole Bowling Club will take place on the 6 Saturdays from Saturday 14th June to Saturday 19th July 2025, inclusive.
Children should arrive by 9.45am for registration, with coaching/bowling from 10-11am.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost is just £1 per session per child. This will include a drink, and parents/guardians may join them in a cuppa too.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
We can provide coaching for children aged 7 to 16 but if your child is only just outside this range, please don’t worry.
DOES MY CHILD NEED TO ATTEND ALL 6 SESSIONS ON THE COURSE?
A child does not need to attend all sessions, however, skills are built upon each week so it would be beneficial to attend as many as possible.
