With successful bids for grant funding from National Lottery Community Fund and Lancashire County Council Older People Champion, the green will be having new floodlights installed within the next month. This will include new lamps and columns which will significantly improve evening bowling. The committee is also undertaking many maintenance jobs; painting of sleepers with anti-slip paint, refurbishment of the seating around the green and electrical upgrades within the clubhouse.
